Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, model, and actress who was named Miss USA in 1996, is an American actor. Following her viewing of the 1970 film "Love Story" her mother gave her the name Ali after Ali MacGraw. The actress is French (Cajun), Cajun roots, and was born in Cecilia Louisiana where she went to Cecilia High School. She was head of the cheerleading team at high school, and was named 'Miss Louisiana Teen America' when she was of 17. Later, in 1996, she was crowned 'Miss Louisiana USA. It was her first big break after winning 'Miss USA. She first made an acting debut in 1997 with the tv series 'Clueless'. The show's popularity skyrocketed after she was dubbed "the Doritos Girl" by appearing in the 'Doritos' commercial telecast during the 1998 Super Bowl. She first made an appearance as a film actress in the movie Beautiful. Through the years she was in numerous of films and TV shows. Her name has appeared in numerous "most wanted" lists for women.
